UAD Guidance and Counseling Presents BRIN Researchers to Incubate and Identify BRIN Research Opportunities

On Monday, March 23 2024 AD to coincide with 12 Ramadan 1445 H at the Grand Rohan Hotel Yogyakarta, the Guidance and Counseling Study Program (BK) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Ahmad Dahlan University held Incubation and Opportunity Identification activities Research from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). This activity presented speakers from BRIN, namely AM Saifullah Aldeia, M.Pd. Apart from that, this activity was attended by all lecturers at the BK FKIP UAD study program.

Irvan Budhi Handaka, M.Pd., as Head of the BK FKIP UAD Study Program (Kaprodi) opened this activity by starting with a speech from the Head of Study Program. He expressed his gratitude for the willingness of the lecturers of the UAD FKIP BK Study Program to attend this event, so that this event could be held successfully and smoothly. He added that this activity aims to identify research opportunities that can be explored by lecturers at the UAD FKIP BK Study Program in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Currently, UAD FKIP BK Study Program lecturers still rely on UAD internal research grants and from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). This is the first step for UAD FKIP BK Study Program Lecturers in expanding their wings in carrying out research or research which can now submit research proposals to the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).

This activity was continued by AM Saifullah Aldeia, M.Pd., as the resource person for this activity. He explained the research schemes that can be taken by UAD FKIP BK Study Program lecturers in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Of course, the research schemes presented are related to the science of guidance and counseling. Not only that, he also added about the proposal input mechanism, research implementation, and the research reporting process carried out through the BRIN scheme.

He explained the various experiences carried out by the resource persons in carrying out research through BRIN very clearly and in detail. So the UAD FKIP BK Study Program lecturers are interested in being able to send research proposals through the BRIN scheme. This is proven by the enthusiasm of the UAD FKIP BK Study Program lecturers in question and answer forums and discussions regarding BRIN research. At the end of his presentation, AM Saifullah Aldeia, M.Pd., added that researchers at BRIN are open to working together, collaborating in implementing research carried out through schemes at BRIN.

This activity went very conducively and ended with breaking the fast with the extended family of the UAD FKIP BK Study Program.
