Tasya Amin Zakiyah: 1st Place in Women’s Kumite -68kg at the Bali Badung Open Karate International Championship 2023

A student from the Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) Counseling Guidance Study Program from the class of 2022, Tasya Amin Zakiyah succeeded in winning 1st place in the 2023 Bali Badung Open Karate International Championship. In this competition, Tasya succeeded in winning the 1st place in Women’s Kumite -68kg .

This brilliant achievement is an extraordinary achievement for Tasya, especially considering the tight competition in this championship which involves participants from various countries. On this occasion, Tasya spoke about her impressions, messages and hopes regarding her proud achievements. Tasya stated: “When I was first declared to have passed the selection stage for Bali, I was really happy and I didn’t expect it, because quite a lot of members took part in the selection at that time. Plus, this championship was quite prestigious and there were some who came from abroad, at first they felt like they weren’t confident. But the coach was really convincing and gave a lot of input until thank God I won. This is also my first time going to Bali, so I’m very happy.”

Tasya’s message to young men and women who aspire to achieve success is: “Winning is the real bonus, the most important thing is to give our best, and the best will be born from our previous process.” This message illustrates the determination and enthusiasm to always focus on self-development and the process of improvement. Tasya also has hopes for a bright future: “Hopefully there will be other gold medals in the upcoming games, and continue to excel.”.

Tasya’s achievements are clear proof that dedication, hard work and belief in oneself can produce extraordinary achievements.
