Alhamdulillah, a student of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) won the Bronze Medal in the National Karate Festival and Open Tournament Karate Atmajaya Cup 1.

The student is Tasya Amin Zakiyah. She is a student in the Counseling Study Program at FKIP UAD, class of 2022.

BK Study Program of FKIP UAD held an activity “BK UAD Goes to Banjarnegara”

Monday – Tuesday, March 20-21, 2023, the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) carried out several activities in the agenda of “BK UAD Goes to Banjarnegara”.

The agenda included Achievement Motivation Training at SMA Negeri 1 Bawang and SMA Negeri 1 Banjarnegara. In addition, the 21st Century Teacher Competency Improvement Workshop was conducted to the Guidance and Counseling Teacher Conference (MGBK) in Banjarnegara Regency. The last agenda carried out was the Alumni Gathering of the BK Study Program of FKIP UAD.

Eight Ahmad Dahlan University Guidance and Counseling Students won 3rd Place in the Group Guidance Competition at UMSU

Students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) made another achievement in the Group Guidance Competition held by the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the University of North Sumatra on December 30, 2023. With the theme “Implementation of counseling teachers in the Era of Society 5.0”, the team from the University Ahmad Dahlan Guidance and Counseling Study Program won 3rd place in the competition. The team consisted of Nisrina Hasna Safira (Class of 2019) as the counselor, Dhini Apriliani (Class of 2020), Heni Mulyani (Class of 2021), Nathaniella Zerlina Yekti (Class of 2019), Tazkiya Auliya Azfin (Class of 2021), Muhammad Didan Zaneti (Class of 2019), Carissa Ardiningrum (Class of 2019), and Fina Delvia Nuroniyah (Class of 2020).

The Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) continues to provide assistance to students both in academic and non-academic fields. So that the UAD Guidance and Counseling Study Program is able to produce superior generations who are able to compete in various regional, national, and international competitions. It is hoped that the achievements made by BK students can rebuild the competitive spirit of other students so they can work and continue to develop themselves in college.

On Monday, March 21, 2023, lecturers from the Guidance and Counseling Study Program (BK) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) were guest speakers at the Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) and Socialization of Class XII Study Continuation at Senior High School (SMA) Negeri 2 Bantul, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. This activity was held to train students to develop themselves and provide insights related to the continuation of their’ studies when they graduate from high school.

 

AMT, or Achievement Motivation Training, is a training program that is held with the aim of self-development, especially increasing the participants achievement  motivation.This activity aims to motivate students to be able to foster encouragement from within and increase their enthusiasm for learning so that they are ready to face the Competency Certification Test and School Examination.

Meanwhile, the Socialization of Continuation of High School Students aims to provide views related to what needs to be prepared in studies when they have graduated from high school. In addition, Dr. Dody Hartanto, M.Pd., provided views related to majors that can be taken by students when they graduate from high school and prepare themselves for college.

Ahmad Dahlan University Guidance and Counseling Students Won the Title of DIY 2023 Genre Ambassador

Ahmad Dahlan University Guidance and Counseling student won the title of DIY 2023 Genre Ambassador. Alya Adinti, is a counseling student of FKIP UAD class of 2020. GenRe stands for Generation Planning. The National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) DIY is the organizer of the 2023 Genre Ambassador activity. Launching from the yogya.bkkbn.go.id page, this activity has the same goals as the government. First, efforts to realize quality human resources. Second, to build national culture and characteristics. This activity has 2 (two) main programs, namely the Bangga Kencana Program and Reducing Stunting Rates.

The 2023 DIY Genre Ambassador program took place starting in January 2023. The selection process began with registration on January 9–23, 2023 with 107 participants. The committee selected 15 pairs of young men and women as the 2023 DIY Genre Ambassador Finalists. The finalists underwent quarantine at the BKKBN DIY Training Dormitory. In quarantine, the finalists received material briefings related to the Proud Program and Stunting Reduction. In addition, the finalists also received material related to self-development, including personality, communication and counseling skills, motivation, and talent development.

Launching from the yogya.bkkbn.go.id page, becoming a GenRe Ambassador can provide opportunities for Peer Educators and Peer Counselors to participate in a real way. In addition, it is able to increase the quantity of coverage and quality of implementation by providing access to information on family life for adolescents. Head of BKKBN DIY Representative Shodiqin conveyed this in the report during the Grand Final event of the DIY 2023 Genre Ambassador.

Welcome to the month of Ramadan, PIK-M Friends Mentari UAD and IMM BPP UAD Graduates in Islamic Studies

Student Information and Counseling Center (PIK-M) Sahabat Mentari Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) @sahabatmentariuad in collaboration with the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) Commissariat BK, PGSD, and PG PAUD (BPP) UAD @imm_bpp_uad held an Islamic Study.

Located at the Ahmad Dahlan University Islamic Center Mosque @masjidislamiccenter_uad, this activity was held to welcome the month of Ramadan, which we will soon pass through. Dr. Hardi Santosa, M.Pd., @hard_dhe (Lecturer of BK Study Program FKIP UAD), and Fahmi Aziz, S.H., M.H., were the speakers at this Islamic study.

 

UAD counseling lecturer presents AMT material at SMA N 2 Pangkalpinang

In early March 2023, a lecturer from the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) was a presenter at the Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) event held at SMA Negeri 2 Pangkalpinang. Agungbudiprabowo, M.Pd., as a lecturer in the BK Study Program of FKIP UAD, provided information in a relaxed and interesting manner. Students were very happy and enjoyed every time Agung delivered the material. The students even scrambled to answer questions from Agung. The students asked many questions related to how to enroll at Ahmad Dahlan University, especially at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education.

“A job that cannot be replaced by a robot is a teacher. Mr. and Mrs. Teachers all make you smart. Have good manners, adab, and educate sincerely. Therefore, you must continue his struggle, one of which is to become a teacher, “said Agung when delivering AMT.

Agung is one of the team members of the FKIP Goes to Bangka-Belitung team. The activity is one of the programs to establish friendship between partner schools. In addition, another goal is to strengthen the closeness and kinship with FKIP UAD Alumni. Many alumni have successfully pursued a career as a professional teacher, ready to educate the nation’s children.

The team and entourage closed the AMT activity by singing the song Something in Jogja. Students and the team mingled together, like a family who was chatting intimately. The song “Something in Jogja” was a magnet that made them feel as if they were already in Jogja and missed Jogja.
