UAD Hosts IMABKIN Region II Work Meeting

Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) Guidance and Counseling Study Program Student Association (HMPS) had the opportunity to host the 2023 meeting of the Indonesian Guidance and Counseling Student Association Region II (IMABKIN II). The Work Meeting lasted for 3 days (3-5/2) and was attended by the IMABKIN Central Board, IMABKIN Region II Board, IMABKIN Regional Board, and University delegates. It took place on Campus 4, and the main building of the work meeting was solemn.

The first day (3/2), a national seminar was held at the Faculty of Medicine Building with speakers Dr. Dody Hartanto, M.Pd. and Caraka Putra Bhakti, M.Pd with the theme “Optimizing the Role of Guidance and Counseling Facing Challenges in the Era of Society 5.0”, The activity went smoothly and was attended by lecturers, students of the UAD BK study program, and participants of the IMABKIN Region II Work Meeting.

The activity began with remarks from the chairman of HMPS BK Reza Burhannudin Yusuf, followed by the Chairperson of the IMABKIN Region II Management Nur Nabila Jaya, then continued with the Chairperson of the IMABKIN Central Management Saddam Husain, and remarks as well as opening the event by Mr. Irvan Budhi Handaka, M.Pd.

The Head of Guidance and Counseling Department of FETT UAD Irvan Budhi Handaka, M.Pd. gave a speech. In his speech, he said, thank you for choosing UAD to host the IMABKIN Region II (Java, Bali, and Nusa) Work Meeting and hopefully the work program of IMABKIN PW II can be useful for all BK students and others.

The hope of this IMABKIN PW II working meeting activity is that it will always be beneficial for all counseling students in Indonesia, especially in Region II (Java, Bali, and Nusa) and can be a forum for friendship for all counseling students throughout Indonesia.

Ully Uswatun Khasanah: 2nd Place in the National Regional Song Singing Competition

Alhamdulillah, a student of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) won first place in the National Women’s Regional Song Singing Competition. Ully Uswatun Khasanah, who is a student of the Counseling Study Program of the FKIP UAD class of 2019, won the competition. She won the championship in the Art Competition Category of Reading Poetry and Singing Regional Songs at the National Level “Pahlawanku Inspirasiku”.

Alivia Eka Arianti: Best Graduate of Ahmad Dahlan University Guidance and Counseling, January 2023 Period

Alhamdulillah, Guidance and Counseling Study Program student Alivia Eka Arianti, who is a 2018 student, became the best graduate of Guidance and Counseling at Ahmad Dahlan University in a graduation held offline and online on January 28, 2023, at the Jogja Expo Center Yogyakarta. At graduation, she achieved the cumlaude title with a GPA of 3.91.

In addition to being the best graduate in the study program, Alivia Eka Arianti also achieved several achievements from national to international levels during her lecture period. Some of the achievements include 2nd place in the UNESA National Essay Competition (2018), 2nd place in the National Essay Competition (2019), and Best Presenter of the UAD Virtual International Course (2020).

Students of Guidance and Counseling at Ahmad Dahlan University Win Various Champions at the BIMAWA UAD LKMM Activity

Alhamdulillah, four students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program (BK) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) won various champions in the Basic Level Student Management Skills Training (LKMM) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) organized by the Bureau of Student Affairs and Alumni (BIMAWA) at UAD. This activity was held on October 21-22, 2022 and was attended by 70 participants from various universities in Yogyakarta.

In this activity, five students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program (BK) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) won several categories of awards, consisting of 2nd place in the Digital Poster Competition by Dedy Setiawan (BK Study Program Student of UAD Batch 2022), 1st place in the category of Competition Organizer by Nur Sa’adah Daulay (Student of Counseling Study Program FKIP UAD Class of 2020), 2nd place in the category of Activity Results Exhibitor by Heni Mulyani (Student of Counseling Study Program FKIP UAD Class of 2021), and Best Media Influencer by Ghina Alfiyah (Student of Counseling Study Program FKIP UAD Class of 2020).
