On Friday, April 7, 2023, PIK M Sahabat Mentari together with PIK M Samahita have carried out social service activities to orphanages and shared takjil. Open alms were opened from March 27, 2023-06 April 2023, from the results of open alms collected cash as much as Rp. 600,000.00 and some alms in the form of clothes, shoes, books, Qur’an, etc. And in the afternoon we did a takjil sharing activity, a total of 160 takjil we distributed along Jalan Batikan, Jalan Veteran, Jalan Mentri Supeno and surrounding areas.

Starting from making a proposal for takjil sharing and social service to orphanages by submitting a budget to Bimawa. While contacting some friends from other PIK M, PIK M Samahita invited us to collaborate in this activity. We also agreed to the invitation from PIK M Samahita and prepared the activity together. We also opened open alms to increase income for the takjil sharing and social service activities to the orphanage. Open alms were opened from March 27, 2023 to April 06, 2023. From the results of open alms collected cash as much as Rp. 600,000.00 and some alms in the form of clothes, shoes, books, Al-Quran, etc. On Friday, April 7, 2023 at 08.45 we left together to Nurul Haaq Madania Orphanage. At 09.15 we arrived at Nurul Haaq Madania Orphanage, we started the event with some remarks and ice breaking for the orphanage children. Then next we divided two teams, namely the elementary school children’s team and the junior high school children. For the elementary school team, we held fun games for them, while the junior high school team provided education about self-understanding by Ms. Alya Adinty from PIK M Sahabat Mentari and Mr. Falih Musyafa from PIK M Samahita. After the activities of each team were completed, the next event was the handover of alms to the orphanage management, we also gave door prizes to the orphanage children. Then we took a group photo with the orphanage children.

After the event was over we went back to our boarding houses and homes to rest, then at 14.00 we gathered again at Campus 4 Ahmad Dahlan University to prepare rice boxes to be distributed to homeless people and the local community. Before doing the takjil sharing activity we divided into 4 groups for takjil distribution. Then at 16.00 we prayed together and we left for the place of the takjil sharing activity, namely in the Batikan red light area. We distributed takjil along batikan street, veteran street, mentri supeno street, and surrounding areas. Alhamdulillah, at 17.15 the rice boxes that we brought were finished, and we returned to our respective boarding houses.

A few words from the Chief Executive of the PIK M Sahabat Mentari Social Service and Takjil Sharing Activity: “Alhamdulillah, I feel relieved that this social service and takjil sharing activity was carried out smoothly. In addition, I felt happy when organizing this activity, because I saw the happy laughter of the orphanage children and the smiles of the homeless who received takjil which made me feel things that I could not express in words. With the implementation of this activity, I hope that my friends and I from PIK M Sahabat Mentari and PIK M Samahita can be more grateful for our circumstances and can hone social sensitivity because social sensitivity is very important to instill especially in the month of Ramadan 1444 Hijriah this time, so that we become human individuals who have empathy and sensitivity to the surrounding environment. Visiting Nurul Haaq Madania Orphanage also makes us learn how the orphanage children live together with their friends and teaches us also as individuals not to be selfish and selfless. Sometimes we have to share with each other and give in so that the atmosphere becomes peaceful, safe and fun.”

Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Multimedia Laboratory of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD), the Guidance and Counseling Study Program (BK) FKIP UAD held a farewell ceremony for the Secretary of the Study Program. On the occasion of this event, Mr. Irvan Budhi Handaka, S.Pd., M.Pd as Head of the Study Program (Kaprodi), Mrs. Siti Muyana, M.Pd as Secretary of the Study Program for the period 2019 – 2023, and Dr. Muya Barida, M.Pd as Secretary of the Study Program for the period 2023 – 2027, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Guidance and Counseling lecturers who attended the farewell event.

The event was held as a form of gratitude to Mrs. Siti Muyana, M.Pd who has worked hard to serve as secretary of the Guidance and Counseling study program during the 2019-2023 period. In the event, Mr. Irvan Budhi Handaka, M.Pd gave the opportunity for Mrs. Siti Muyana, M.Pd to say a few words, he said “Thank you for the opportunity, ladies and gentlemen, I apologize if during this period there were many shortcomings and have not been able to serve optimally ladies and gentlemen”.

In addition, Mr. Irvan Budhi Handaka, M.Pd also said “thank you to Mrs. Siti Muyana, M.Pd for accompanying during the 2019-2023 period she was very diligent, and worked hard in carrying out her duties as study program secretary”. The testimonial delivered by one of the lecturers for Mrs. Siti Muyana, M.Pd., “she is very diligent, painstaking, and hard work”.

In the last session, the guidance and counseling study program gave a memento to Mrs. Siti Muyana, M.Pd. which was represented by the Head of Study Program, Irvan Budhi Handaka, M.Pd. as a form of farewell to the previous and new secretary of the study program.
