It is a very extraordinary thing to process in the beloved Study Program Guidance and Counseling UAD. I feel a lot of benefits, one of which is about discipline, hard work, honesty and responsibility.
UAD’s Study Program Guidance and Counseling has elective courses, one of which is Disaster Counseling and Practices for crisis counseling services, which teaches how to be a disaster prepared and resilient educator in both Pre-Disaster, Emergency Response and Post-Disaster situations.
At UAD there is also a Center for Disaster Mitigation and Management Studies (PSMPB UAD) and the Dahlan Rescue Community (DRC) which always facilitate students in disaster seminars / trainings ranging from basic medical, rescue and psychosocial
Job opportunities in the realm of disaster are still wide open, starting from working at National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB), Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Non Government Organisation (NGOS), disaster consultants and others.

During my study at the Ahmad Dahlan University Guidance and Counseling study program, especially in the specialization of Drug Guidance and Counseling, I gained a lot of useful knowledge and experiences. Besides that, the Ahmad Dahlan University Guidance and Counseling Study Program also provided me with a good understanding of drugs. Finally, I was able to work and apply my knowledge at National Narcotics Agency of Sleman Regency. I feel proud to be an alumni of the Ahmad Dahlan University Guidance and Counseling Study Program.
