Tuesday, January 9 2024, the Guidance and Counseling Study Program (BK) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) held a Workshop on Patents and Appropriate Technology for Lecturers at Campus 4 of Ahmad Dahlan University.

The workshop aims to provide lecturers with in-depth insight into the patent registration process, practical technology development, and integration of research results into daily applications, as a strategic step in increasing innovation in the academic environment.

The activity was opened directly by the Head of the BK FKIP UAD Study Program and continued with the delivery of material by the resource person, namely Prof. Anton Yudhana, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. who is one of the lecturers in the Electrical Engineering Study Program
Ahmad Dahlan University. The second speaker in this workshop is Dr. Budi Santosa, M.Pd. who is one of the lecturers in the Automotive Technology Vocational Education department at Ahmad Dahlan University.

This activity was attended by lecturers from the UAD FKIP BK Study Program and took place in a solemn atmosphere. Mr and Mrs Lecturers were very enthusiastic about listening to the material presented by the presenters. By holding this activity, it is hoped that UAD FKIP BK Study Program Lecturers will be able to gain new insights and knowledge related to patent rights and also appropriate technology for lecturers. Alhamdulillah, the workshop ran smoothly without any obstacles. This activity closed with prayer then continued with a group photo.

Monday, December 11 2023, the Guidance and Counseling Study Program (BK) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) held a Community Service Output Workshop (PKM) in the form of Intellectual Property Rights (HKI) at Campus 4 of Ahmad Dahlan University.

The workshop aims to provide insight and knowledge to UAD FKIP BK Study Program lecturers regarding PKM outputs in the form of books, so that by carrying out this activity they can better understand the strategies, processes and benefits of developing and utilizing outputs in the form of books in the context of community service.

This activity is the second time after the PKM output workshop in the form of IPR which was held on December 4. The activity was opened directly by the Head of the BK FKIP UAD Study Program and continued with the delivery of material by the resource person, namely Mrs. Dr. Rina Ratih Sri Sundari, M.Hum., who is one of the lecturers at the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Ahmad Dahlan University. He presented material entitled “Writing Textbooks, References and Monographs According to National Bookkeeping Standards”.

This activity was attended by lecturers from the UAD FKIP BK Study Program and took place in a solemn atmosphere. Mr and Mrs Lecturers were very enthusiastic about asking questions regarding the material for writing books from the service activities that had been carried out. By holding this activity, it is hoped that UAD FKIP BK Study Program Lecturers will be able to gain new insight and knowledge regarding how to create a work in the form of a book in their community service project. The activity closed with a photo session with the presenters.
