Congratulations and Success to the Guidance and Counseling (BK) Study Program Students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) who participated in the School Field Introduction (PLP) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Tazkiya Aulia Azfin (first from left) as a BK FKIP UAD Study Program student is the only one who is part of the PLP team in Jeddah this period. Tazkiya, together with 4 other students from Ahmad Dahlan University, and accompanied by one Field Coordinator Lecturer (DPL), Mr. Fariz Setyawan M.Pd., who is also the Head of the Center for Professional Development of Education (P3K) Ahmad Dahlan University started the PLP activities on August 1, 2024.

This PLP activity was organized by P3K Ahmad Dahlan University, starting with Umrah, and continued with PLP activities at schools in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The PLP activity process will be carried out until September 2, 2024.

National Gold Medal: Galih Nan Tawadhu Wins Taekwondo Championship

Guidance and Counseling Study Program (UAD) students have again won the National Gold Medal at the Taekwondo Ganesha Competition in the Under 87 kg class. The competition was organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) on June 28-30, 2024.

UAD Guidance and Counseling Team Successfully Passes Top 20 Final SIC at University of Technology Sarawak, Malaysia

The Smart Innovation Competition (SIC) championship held by the University of Technology Sarawak (UTS), Malaysia, on 27-28 September 2024 is an international innovation championship for students. This activity has attracted the attention of various higher education institutions in the world. One of them is Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD), from Indonesia.

Ahmad Dahlan University, especially the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) sent various teams led by FKIP students to take part in the championship. A number of teams sent their best work accompanied by competent lecturers in their fields.

Two teams from FKIP Ahmad Dahlan University successfully qualified for the Top 20 Final of the Smart Innovation Competition Category C & D Senior. One of them is a team from students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program (Prodi) FKIP Ahmad Dahlan University. The team was guided by Dr. Caraka Putra Bhakti, M.Pd. (BK Lecturer), and consisted of (1) Hilda Hidayatun Nafi’ah (Chairperson | BK Student); (2) Yulia Gesti Merkuri (Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) Student); (3) Atika Silma Daima (Food Service Business Student); (4) Faza Warda Nadilla (BK Student); and (5) Tasya Ami Zakiyah (BK Student) carrying the title “Berdikari: Development of board game media to improve Self Directed Learning for Middle School Students”.

Hopefully with this achievement, the team from BK students will continue to be enthusiastic and can win medals in the championship.

The BK FKIP UAD student team consists of Wardah Sholihah Nur Laili (class of 2021), Rizky Romadhoni (class of 2022), Dwi Darma Puspitasari (class of 2023).

Ully Uswatun Khasanah, a 2019 batch student of the BK FKIP UAD study program, won 1st place in the photogenic competition and 1st place in the general category digital poster competition in a national art competition organized by Persendo Organizer (Indonesian Art Competition)
