Congratulations and Success to the Guidance and Counseling (BK) Study Program Students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) who participated in the School Field Introduction (PLP) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Tazkiya Aulia Azfin (first from left) as a BK FKIP UAD Study Program student is the only one who is part of the PLP team in Jeddah this period. Tazkiya, together with 4 other students from Ahmad Dahlan University, and accompanied by one Field Coordinator Lecturer (DPL), Mr. Fariz Setyawan M.Pd., who is also the Head of the Center for Professional Development of Education (P3K) Ahmad Dahlan University started the PLP activities on August 1, 2024.

This PLP activity was organized by P3K Ahmad Dahlan University, starting with Umrah, and continued with PLP activities at schools in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The PLP activity process will be carried out until September 2, 2024.

Guidance and Counseling Study Program (Bachelor and Master Program) UAD Holds Academic Visit to UM Guidance and Counseling Department

On Monday, August 12, 2024, the Guidance and Counseling (BK) Study Program (Prodi) Undergraduate and Masters Programs of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Ahmad Dahlan held an Academic Visit to the Guidance and Counseling Department of the Faculty of Education (FIP) Universitas Negeri Malang (UM).

This activity aims to improve friendship and benchmarking of study program management as an effort to improve the quality of the study program. This activity also has another goal, namely to learn about the establishment of the Guidance and Counseling Doctoral Study Program. This was prepared by the UAD Guidance and Counseling Study Program because it is a preparation to meet the needs of the community who need more. In addition, the UAD Guidance and Counseling Study Program already has Undergraduate and Masters Programs, so to complete it, a Doctoral Program is needed.

Present at this activity were the Head of the Guidance and Counseling Masters Study Program (MBK) UAD, Dr. Hardi Santosa, M.Pd., Secretary of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program of the Undergraduate Program UAD, Dr. Muya Barida, M.Pd., Secretary of the MBK Study Program UAD, Dr. Wahyu Nanda Eka Saputra, M.Pd., Kons., and Head of the Guidance and Counseling Department UM, Dr. Diniy Hidayatur Rahman, S.Pd., M.Pd., as well as Lecturers and Ahmad Dahlan University and Malang State University

This activity also coincided with the Dissertation Examination of one of the Lecturers of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program UAD, namely Dr. Agus Ria Kumara, M.Pd., who has completed his studies in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program Doctoral Program at Malang State University.

UAD Guidance and Counseling Study Program Again Wins Various Achievements at UAD FKIP

The Guidance and Counseling (BK) Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) has successfully achieved various achievements at the FKIP UAD level. The achievements were achieved by the academic community of the BK FKIP UAD Study Program during the Even Semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The achievements were received by the BK FKIP UAD Study Program together with the Affirmation of Commitment #5 FKIP UAD agenda at the UAD Main Campus Amphitarium on August 13, 2024.

Taking place at the UAD Amphitarium, this activity was carried out offline and online via Zoom Meeting & Live Youtube. In this activity, a speaker from Japan, Prof. Norimune Kawai, Ph.D., was brought in online, and collaborated with Dr. Muya Barida, M.Pd., from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan.

UAD Guidance and Counseling Lecturers Successfully Pass Funding for the 2024 “KATALIS” Program

Alhamdulillah, one of the lecturers from the Guidance and Counseling (BK) Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD), Dr. Wahyu Nanda Eka Saputra, M.Pd., Kons., successfully passed as a Recipient of Strategic Research Collaboration Program Funding (KATALIS) for the 2024 Fiscal Year organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

Dr. Wahyu successfully passed the funding with the proposal title “Model Construction and Application of “Problem Checklist- v2″ as a Comprehensive Diagnostic Psychological Assessment for Indonesian Alpha Generation Students”. In addition, he successfully passed the funding by becoming a member of the team chaired by Prof. Dr. Nur Hidayah, M.Pd., from the State University of Malang.
